Mater Energia developments which are now in operation counts for 5 GW across various markets like Brasil, México, South Africa, Spain, Italy, Peru’ and United States. Mater energia is currently engaged in other 13 GW of developments in this same markets including projects under construction and project under developments with cod within 2023/2026.

We started in South Africa participating to the first ever internationally renowned renewable RFP program in 2011 and our first 30 MW projects were announced at the Cop 17 in Durban in 2011. From this early stage we passed to the 1 GW mega project in Mexico in 2016 – Villanueva and to the ultra mega Project of Sao Gonzalo in Brazil. Not only the landmark projects are important to us, any and all of our projects are meaningful including the small ones as they are conceived, designed and realized in the right place for the right need. Our real ability is indeed to anticipate the need for energy and taking it to ground before anybody else.

ACTIVITY
We deliver high quality innovative solutions with real added value:

We offer a 360 degrees service: development of plants, structuring the financing, construction and operation of solar and wind projects.

We carefully analyse the suitability of the location of the future solar / wind power plant, carrying out the corresponding feasibility studies of the site and the grid connection point.

We also deal with the purchase or lease agreements of the land. All contracts are structured, created and completed considering the future requirements of investors looking at predictable asset performance over 30 to 35 years.

Together with site preparation, we start working on the implementation of the plant. This includes technical and project planning, mechanical and electrical designs, engineering and plant layout, amongst others.

We manage all the permits, licenses and authorizations required to develop and operate a solar / wind project on behalf of the Special Purpose Vehicles (Project Company) following such projects until the COD phase.
